His Excellency the Chairman of the Defence Industries Commission Eng. Muhammad Sahib Al-Daraji, Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Yarallah, met to discuss ways of cooperation in the field of supplying the Iraqi army with weapons and military equipment. During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation in the field of supplying the Iraqi army with its needs of military equipment, ammunition and various weapons in order to maintain the combat readiness of the armed forces. The meeting also included discussing the capabilities of the Defence Industries Commission

 in providing what can be provided through the settlement of local military industries in order to preserve the national and economic security of Iraq.
