Defence Industries Commission did its first live trial of "AlTahadi" artillery Cannon which is locally made by Iraqi professional team since 2003, the event was attended by many military officials, as the president of Defence Industries Commission Mohamed Sahib AlDaraji stated " the Commission factory succeeded to make its first original version of artillery Cannon D-30 in Iraq.

AlDaraji added " the Commission was able to manufacture artillery battalion of 20 Cannons in Iraq by Commission professional team, the Cannons passed the test Defence ministry as the result was outstanding".

AlDaraji stated also "this successful achievement will have such an excellent impact on Iraq economy and it's national security, as the cost of this local made Cannon is going to be very affordable compared to imported parts, in addition of that, this Cannon will consider value add to equip the Iraqi military of its need to protect Iraqi territory.
