Directorrate of Defence Researches and Development Holds a Preliminary Meeting for the First Iraqi Conference on Scientific Research
Directorrate of Defence Researches and Development Department at the Defense Industries Commission held a preparatory meeting today, Wednesday, September 2, 2026, for the First Annual Iraqi Conference on Scientific Research in the Defense Industries, attended by a number of Commission officials, Iraqi university professors, and experts.The meeting included the signing of a joint scientific cooperation agreement between the Defense Industries Commission and the Middle Technical University, as well as a discussion of a number of specialized research projects focused on the development of the defense industry, thereby strengthening the integration between scientific research and the industrial sector and supporting paths of development and innovation.
