With the support, guidance, and backing of the esteemed Chairman of the Defence Industries Commission, and through the efforts and follow-up of the Commissions customs clearance and monitoring staff, the General Company for Copper and Mechanical Industries has received all machinery and equipment for the production line of the brass tubes project for heat exchangers.
This step is part of the Iraqi-Spanish agreement, under which the machinery and equipment were supplied by the Spanish company Hormesa, with the efforts and oversight of representatives from the General Company for Copper and Mechanical Industries.
In a related development, the company’s specialized technical staff completed the civil works for the project, which included pouring all concrete foundations and preparing the necessary infrastructure for the installation and operation of the machinery and equipment.
Now that all machinery and equipment have arrived and been positioned, the company is preparing to begin the installation and commissioning of the production line under the supervision of experts from the Spanish supplier, ensuring that all project phases are carried out in accordance with the approved technical specifications.
The brass heat exchanger tube production line project is an important step in developing the company’s production capacity and enhancing its technical and industrial capabilities, thereby supporting the Defense Industries Commission efforts to develop the national industry.
