Awareness Workshop at the Iraqi Defense Industries Commission on Iraq’s National Security Strategy
On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the Human Rights Department Of The Iraqi Defense Industries Commission, in cooperation with the Office of the Iraqi High Commission for Human Rights/National Office, organized a workshop titled “Iraqi National Security Strategy (Iraq First 2025–2030),” which was aimed at staff members of the Commission’s center.
The workshop was presented by Mr. Akram Akla Daoud, Director of the Training and Education Department at the Commission. He reviewed the strategy’s objectives and key themes, the importance of promoting national and security awareness, and the role of state institutions in its implementation, as well as the need to consolidate human rights principles and link them to national security and social stability.
