Iraq and the United Kingdom Sign a Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Military Industries

Iraqi Minister of Military Industrialization, H.E. Engineer Mohammed Sahib Al-Daraji, signed a bilateral cooperation agreement with Mark Goldsack, Head of the UK’s Defence and Security Exports Authority, in the field of military industries.

Al-Daraji stated that the agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Military and Aerospace Industries Exhibition held in the United Kingdom.

He added that the agreement includes the transfer of British technology to Iraq, as well as encouraging the British side to support UK companies wishing to operate in Iraq, with the aim of enabling technology transfer and establishing production lines for military industries inside Iraq.

It is worth noting that H.E. Engineer Al-Daraji is heading the Iraqi delegation participating in the Military and Aerospace Industries Exhibition currently being held in Farnborough, UK.
